30 day "free" trial

I began the 30 day free trial & I was charged $4.99 & I've seen many complaints about this so I would like my refund for this month since it's suppose to be free. Also, spotify wouldn't allow me to get the student discount when I am in fact a college student.

Hello and welcome to the Spotify community, 

Before you began the 30 day free trial were you already a premium member? If you are already paying for Spotify premium they do not allow you to take advantage of the promotional deals like the 30 day free trial. 

As far as the student discount, what exactly is the problem? Is it not allowing you to verify your school? Also, what country to you go to school in? Because the student discount is only offered to students in The United States.
