9.99 € for 3 months deal

Hey,

I tried to get the holiday deal (3 months Spotify Premium for only 9.99€) with a giftcard, but now it says that I purchased only 1 month of Premium, even though last time I had Premium was in July or September, so I definitely did not end my Premium subscription after the advertisement for the deal went online.

I saw the promotion of 0.99 pounds for month valid 3 months (Promotion valid 31/12/2015)
I inscribed this promo ... and I received the bill of 12.99 pounds!! Valid 1 months
I think there's been a mistake

Similar issue I'm facing - paid for $9.99 for 3 months deal - used a $30 gift card - Spotify used the ENTIRE gift card and gave me three months. Currently waiting to hopefully hear back from customer service soon since the only way you can (apparently) get in touch with them is by sending a form email. Frustrating since the check-out process NEVER shows you what you are getting or what Spotify is charging you for. I find the entire process ridiculous.

 

Anyway, sorry I can't help but wanted to share that I have similar situation. Perhaps its a glitch with using gift cards for promotions?

Update: Spotify customer service emailed me and told me that none of their promos work when paying with Gift Cards. Nevermind that NO WHERE on the site is this mentioned, even when checking out. Gift card payment is listed as an option right next to credit cards. No distinction. And absolutely no indication that you're NOT getting the 3 months deal when you check out. Only AFTER do you see the full charge. 

 

To me this is just ridiculous. Also why Spotify would penalize customers who have ASKED FOR SPOTIFY GIFT CARDS FOR CHRISTMAS is beyond me. Terrible customer service.
