My Question or Issue

I search for a Profile of a User which has no restrictions and public playlists provided,.
As long as i'm not logged in, I CAN FIND that profile!
As long as i'm logged in with a newly created FREE account I CAN FIND that profile!
As soon as i'm logged in with my premiun account I CANNOT FIND that profile any more!
I'm not blocked by that user and i've not blocked that user.
If I receive a link to that profile by someone else via mail or messenger, clicking that link and opening app again brings error up "Page can not be found",
What is the reason, that this only happens when i'm logged in with my premium?

Thanks for support!

Kind regard

Hey @TomSco,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

There's a very high chance you've been blocked by the user profile you're trying to view from your account.

If you know the owner of the account, you can send them the following steps so that they can unblock you if that's something they would like to do:

  1. Navigate to the profile you've blocked. If you can't find them by their name, you can open their profile directly by entering spotify:user:USERNAME (replace USERNAME with their actual username) in the Search bar.
  2. Select the three-dot menu.
  3. Select Unblock.

Please keep in mind that this is the only way to unblock a user. It's required to locate the profile of the user to be able to unblock it.

I hope this helps 🙂
