I must have hit "sign up" instead of "sign/log in" and made a new profile. I looked at my brother's account, and my account still exists, with it's playlists. He can play all the songs from them as well. I have sent two requests into Spotify with no response:

The login is with facebook. Logging out and logging back in does not help, in fact I think I may have made a third account through facebook. I tried looking up my real username (127847963) using my brother's account and putting that in. 1: it said wrong password when typing my facebook password 2: it said it was a facebook account and to reset that password when I tried "forgot password"


I can't find any way to delete this bad account, and certaintly wish spotify could recognize when someone already has a facebook account connected - that would keep you from people misusing the free period by making new accounts every time as well, so it seems to be a good investment. It would be great to either hear a reply back here or just to either of my case#s.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.


If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.


If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
