Account Hacked and I can's reset password or anything. Payment still being taken

Hi - I was on a bus back arounf the end of Jan when suddenly another users playlist came up on my screen whilst I was playing my own music.

 

A few days later I was logged out of my account on my laptop and phone. When I tried to log back in, it stated that my username and password were incorrect.

 

I tried sending a reset for my password but have not recieved an email. 

 

I am still being charged premium. I want a refund

Welcome to the community!

 

It sounds like someone has taken over your account and changed the email associated with it. I would recommend immediately contacting Spotify support, here's how to do so:

  1. Go to the contact form.
  2. Select Logging in.
  3. Choose I can't log in to Spotify
  4. Click I STILL NEED HELP.

Spotify support will then take all the necessary and precautionary steps to secure your account and return access to you.
