Account Hijacked

Account Hijacked

Hi,

Last night I got an email telling me my email has been changed and that if I didnt initiate this, I should send an email immediatly to Spotify at  account-details-changed@spotify.com. Which I did.

My password has also been changed.

I could however log in via Facebook (which is how im able to post here now).

ALL my playlists have been deleted and unfollowed. Also all of my songs that I've added via the + button are gone too!

I know there is a way to recover my playlists online. But only to some extend. (I had a lot of different playlists).

Also not possible to recover "followed" playlists or the songs i've added via the + button.  If at all possible, i'd be awesome if there was some kind of rollback feature.

I've also contacted support via the anonymous contact form. (didnt get any confirmation email)

I've also contacted support via twitter (@spotifycares)

The only reaction so far was from the twitter account, telling me the "account team" would contact met asap. That was about 12hrs ago.

Im paying for Spotify Premium for Familiy though my PayPal, if needed I can provide all payment and/or invoice details to Spotify.

Hoping to hear from anyone soon,

Mischa

PS: This could have been avoided if Spotify had send me an email with a confirmation link about changing the email, like any website nowdays has.

Hey @mischaz

If you contact support from your account, the support reply may probably go to the email you don't have access to.

Make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account in your browser when using the anonymous contact form or the username and custom email field will not show up. It is important so that you can enter the information of the account you are having trouble with. If you are logged in with a different account that is not having the problem, that account info will be used and support will be confused.

You should get a reply within 24-48 hours. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
