Account Subscription help

My dad made an account a couple of months ago and he thought that by just deleting the app would cancel his membership. He just realised that he has been carged for membership for he last couple months. The problem is that he doesn't remember the account information so there isn't much I can do. Is there anyway that Spotify can cancel the membership by just knowing which card is being charged

Hey @Izzy_Hdz99,

Does he get email receipts for his subscription purchases? Search for one of them in his email account. In it, the Spotify username he's paying for is shown:

Username/ID: xxxxxxx

You can login to the website with that username to check the status of his subscription, and his receipts.

In there he can cancel if he wants to, and delete his payment info.

Hope it helps. 🙂

He doesn't remember what email he used since he always forgets the information. So he has no clue which account he is using.

If that's the case, log out of the Spotify website in your browser and fill out this contact form. Someone from Spotify will be happy to help you out.

Make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account in your browser when using the contact form or the username and custom email field will not show up. It is important so that you can enter the information of the account you are having trouble with. If you are logged in with a different account that is not having the problem, that account info will be used and support will be confused.

You should get a reply within 24-48 hours. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the Community, you need to reply directly to support@spotify.com
