Account doesn't update country selection

Account doesn't update country selection

Hi everyone 🙂

 

I just moved to South Korea, where I'll stay for the next 6 months for study purposes; though when I attempt to change my country from my account settings, the dropdown only shows my previous country (Indonesia).

 

I already read posts saying that free users can use Spotify for only 14 days when they travel; after that, they need to update their country on their profile (or upgrade to Premium) but it won't give me the option to select South Korea! 😞

 

As anyone encountered a similar problem or has any suggestions how to solve it?

PS. I don't use VPN and my localisation works perfectly on google.maps

You're not able to update the country in your account because we haven't launched in South Korea yet. We're launching regularly in countries around the world. Sign up here to be first to hear.

I’ve moved from United Kingdom to New Zealand and I cannot select New Zealand as the guide tells you to it still only shows GB. Spotify is available in New Zealand so what is the problem?
