Account hack: Songs skipping and strange songs

Use Spotify on Mac + iOS 

Issue

My account started skipping songs halfway through songs, then songs were being remotely changed to play rather odd, unrecognizable music WHILE I AM LISTENING lol (how rude!)

Anyways - I contacted Spotify and they confirmed my account has been compromised. We had to resecure my account 2x before the issue was solved (hopefully will stay solved)

Anyone else had this issue? I reset my associated Spotify accounts as well for security - if anyone has information about how something like this might happen (to avoid a reppeat) I'd really appreciate it !
