Account hijacked, changed password & email

Account hijacked, changed password & email

My account has been hijacked. Password and account email have been changed so I cannot reset account info. I had to make a new account to post this message.

 

Case #: 02766688  Can someone please escalate this so I don't have to wait the many days other people on here with the same problem seem to have had to wait?

 

I find it absolutely ridiculous Spotify allows both password and email to be changed without any notification to the original email address! It is standard practice in this type of IT security to notify the current email on file of any major account changes to help prevent things like this from happening!

 

I am now paying for a service I cannot use.
