My Question or Issue

Hi, I want my Spotify account to show my Facebook name rather than the name I used when I signed up to Spotify. It was doing this for a while after I connected my Spotify to my Facebook but now it's returned back to showing my Spotify username rather than my Facebook name.  I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to Facebook but it's not made a difference.  Please can you tell if it's possible to do this? (without losing my playlists). Thanks, Ben

First up, let's try logging out and back into your account. Occasionally this is necessary to force a sync of info between your device and the Spotify account system

If that doesn't help, try performing a quick clean reinstallation of the Spotify app by following these steps. If you're using the web player, try clearing your browser's cookies and cache.

Hi Noah, thanks very much for the suggestions but I'm afraid they didn't work. I tried logging out and back in several times to Spotify and Facebook. I removed Spotify following those instructions and then reinstalled it and reconnected to Facebook.  My Spotify username and pic are still showing rather than my Facebook name and profile pic.  Thanks, Ben
