Account name changed when friend logged in to his account

My mate came over and wanted his playlist and no ads (i have free accout he has paid), the next day i see his account name is a 20 letter/number random combination and my account now has his name.  I have been online to the online profile and it has my picture however on the desktop app it has his name and picture.  Ive linked and unlinked my facebook account, reinstalled the desktop app and been scrolling through this spotify community for about an hour now and there is no fix that has worked.  Hopefully someone can help, thanks in advance

It sounds like their Facebook got connected to your account. Just follow the steps listed here to disconnect it from your account.

After that, they'll need to try logging in using the Log in with Facebook button to see if they have any trouble accessing their account.
