Account will not let me change my email address!

I am trying to change my email address on my account, from ma**@gmailcom to t***@liberty.edu, but it says that the email I am trying to change it to is in current use.

I then try to login with the email t***@liberty.edu (the one that I am trying to change it to), even clicking "forgot password." Yet it says that there is no such account associated with the email address. I have even tried to sign in with facebook to fix the problem, as the email address t***@liberty.edu is also used by facebook, but no such luck.

I have contacted Spotify Support Twice in the past week, with no help from them. I am starting to get frustrated.
