Account wiped out (no user name, no songs, lost all subscription info)

Account wiped out (no user name, no songs, lost all subscription info)

This morning I my Spotify app asked me to log in but apparently username/password  was wrong, I tried to reset the password but now my account looks completely empty. I had a premium subscription for 3 years now and none of the saved songs/playlists or subscription details was there after the password reset. 

Furthermore my username was changed to a long series of number and letters.

Hi there!

 

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I feel your anxiety on this.

Was your account connected to Facebook? If so, it got disconnected and needs to be connected again to get the name back. That could restore the account.

 

If it’s not, I recommend you tweeting the Spotify team @SpotifyCares and they’ll gladly help you restore your account the best they can. They’re also on email and Facebook.
