Account with a deleted Email

Hi,

So I have just deleted an email address that is associated with my premium spotify account but why is my account still there? How do I close that account without email because it won't let me log in with my username. It says there is no active account with that username.

Second, is it possible if I want to transfer the premium subscription to my newly created spotify account?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Currently it's not possible to transfer your Premium subscription directly from one account to the other. 

What you can do is Cancel your existing subscription and close your account. After that you can simply subscribe for Premium on your new account.

We'd recommend heading over to this support page for more info on how you can gain access to an account with a deleted email address.

If that doesn't work, we'd suggest reaching out to our Support team, as they'd be happy to help out if possible.
