I have sent a request in an email to the Spotify help form, my case number is 00670584
I signed up for my account using my facebook account but I want to be able to use my Account without needing to sign in via facebook al the time. I don't want to get rid of my account and have it deleted unless that is the last option. I have heard nothing from the Spotify support, not exactly grand customer service, even after messaging a moderator i have still had no response. I would like to be able to use my account, but with a username of my choice and by signing in via email and not by facebook, if this is possible can a moderator get in touch with me or respond to my support email?
If this is not possible I'd like to delete my account and then I can start a new one using an email and username for logging in.
How long ago did you get in touch with support? Unfortunately you will need a new account, there is no way to disconnect a Facebook created account from Facebook.
If you got an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages when you got in touch, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
