Activating Premium For Family

Hi, Can anyone help?  I'm trying to activate a premium for family subcription, but eveytime I upgrade to premium I either get offered 30 day free trial or asked to put my payment details in.  I'm not paying the bill, do i still need to enter my payment details?

Are you trying to join someone's Premium for Family plan?

If so, you can join the plan by following the instructions from this support article: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/premium_for_family/premium-for-family/
