Add kid to premium family

How do I add my 11 year old daughter to my family subscription?

I've created an invite by creating a link. Entered the link into the browser, and am asked to created an account for her.
I go in to create the account, entering her mail adress, username, birthday and gender and try to create her account. But now it says she isn't old enough....

So now I have to chose between lying about my family, or denying parts of my family access to my family subscription????

Surely this cannot be correct! Please advise me on how I include all my family in my family subscription.

Hello,

You could put the account under your name, and allow her access to it, Spotify flags songs which have explicit content on, so you can know which songs not to listen too.

I hope this helps.

That's just a way to get around it; not really a solution 😞 I can also just lie about her age, but that is also just a way of getting around it.

It is labeled as a family plan, so I want to add my family to the subscription, not lie about ir, or "create multiple profiles of myself."

Hi. : )

Spotify has stated in the terms of privacy that the service is not for children under 13 years of age. See the terms of service for country-specific restrictions on spotify.com/legal/end-user-agreement under Introduction.

Lying about her age would be the easiest method, but that's also against the terms of service.

Sorry for disappointing.

So the family part in the family subscription is just a half truth...

My family can only be my family if they are eligible to not be my familiy 😞
