Add my kids to Spotify Family without e-mail? And how do they access their playlist?

Solved!

Add my kids to Spotify Family without e-mail? And how do they access their playlist?

Hi!

Changed from Premium to Family.

Now, I want to active it on my kids phones (with out phone number, they just use Wifi at home).

But, I cant manage to do that without an email. My kids are small, so they don't have any email adress yet, but they love musik.

How do I add persons without email????

And, we all got different playlists in the Premium account, me, my wife, and the kids,

but, how do we transfer the playlist to the kids accounts now?

Hey @Boney!

As @Bearfootrecords suggested, you'll need to contact @SpotifyCares once you created the account to your kids.

If you use Gmail you can create sub-accounts for your email address (more info here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/33327), then you can use those email accounts to create an account for your kids.

Hi @Boney thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

I'd suggest having a flick through the family FAQ on here, which might answer a lot of your queries. In brief, on a family account each member of the family would still have their own, individual accounts, with their own playlists attached to them. Given your situatuon your first option might be to create free Spotify accounts for each family member and invite them to the family account, having the playlists copied over (You'll have to contact Spotify Care for that to have them moved over or you can make your playlists public instead, which would be a little quicker). The second option would be to drop back to Premium and carry on the same. Depends entirely on how you use Spotify really. My suggestion would be, if you would like to listen to different things at the same time would be the former.

Well, I have read the FAQ, but that didn't tell me how to add users without email, and also not how to transfer the playlists.

Then in the community, there is a thread (spelling?)  with 1082 post.... it will take me several days to read 🙂

So, you mean that Spotify makes a lot of advertising about changing to Family, but they have not come up with a solution to transfer the playlists?

That sounds really bad.

This should be a basic thing I would say.

That google sub account thing is a great idea @OviiiOne!
