Ads on unlimited

For the last two or three days I've been subjected to ads, despite my subscription remaining on 'unlimited'.  Any reason for this?  I don't want to hear about Halifax or hear the voice of Graham Norton between my favourite songs!

My understanding is that the Unlimited subscription option no longer exists, and everyone on Unlimited has been moved to Free. If you want to get rid of the ads, you'll have to get Premium.

Spotify no longer offers the Unlimited tier for new subscriptions. When a customer changes their payment method, their subscription is reset as new.

Now users can choose between Free and Premium. As a Premium customer you'll can enjoy:

• Listen even without an internet connection.
