Ads running on Premium account

Hello,

I've been on the (student) premium account for years and have not had any problems until two days ago ads started running on all of my devices (mac, iphone, web player). I tried re-logging in, double checked my account details - payment did go through last month and I only have one account via Facebook. None of the guidelines online helped, please advice how I could solve the problem.

Hard to say and this might sound daft but have you tried reinstalling the software? Usually my go to problem solver if something weird is going on.

When logged in to spotify does it offer you the chance to sign up to premium or does the app (and/or) website understand you're a premium user?
