[All Platforms][Your Library] Exemption to the 30 day offline rule

[All Platforms][Your Library] Exemption to the 30 day offline rule

Hi,

i know about the 30 offline restriction and am usually totally fine with it and understand the contractual and technical reasons behind it.

Here is the catch. As a long time subscriber and vivid user of Spotify all my listening happens here. Now myself and my girlfriend happen to go to expeditions once in a while. Usually it’s not an issue as we usually are able to connect to the internet once in a while during 6 week expeditions.

But due to covid and the extra quarantine time we have to went through prior to expeditions and the next one being 2.5 Months + quarantine and no internet access in the antarctic (I already checked with the IT of the vessel). My girlfriend won’t be able to get Spotify online in part of January, February, March and part of April.

Is there some possibility to circumvent this restriction for that amount of time until there is official support?

Hey @NicoHarms ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, you need to go online at least once every 30 days to keep your downloads. This is so Spotify can collect play data to compensate artists.

I hope this clears things up!
