All my playlists have been changed!!!

All my playlists have been changed!!!

Hello. I just have logged in and found that all my playlists have been changed.

 

My own ones have been deleted and there are many others instead.

 

The account settings remains, but the playlists are gone!!

 

Has been my user information been messed with another user one??

In that case you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to restore that for you. I would also suggest that you change your password incase someone else is using your account. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

It sounds like your account has become merged with someones else's account. 

Do you normally log in using Facebook or a Spotify username?

No, I always have logged with spotify login. Today May, 8th things were normal this morning.

 

It's now ~21:00 (GMT+1) that when logging in I found this.

Strange, if you go to Edit > Preferences > Social Network > Does it say "Disconnect from Facebook"? 

If so try it, it sounds like your account is tied with someone elses.

The option I have is "Connect to Facebook", so no link to a Facebook account exists.

 

darn!! A backup option should exist to fix this!!
