I logged into my account and saw that I can't play a single song and absolutely all playlists are empty. I don't know what this could be connected with. Moreover, this problem is only in the application. There is no such problem on the website. What should I do to fix my account? I have already reinstalled the app.

Same happened to mine. I just stopped using it after I tried a clean reinstall. Looks like the latest updates hardcore broke the service. Good work.
Hi, after being in the same situation as all of you, my playlists came back and now I can play it again... I'm not premium. I've tried another time to install the last version and now it's ok...

This is a bug report not a suggestion.
On my homepage (Android App and Webplayer), there is always the same empty playlist. When I click on it it says, this playlist is empty check your homepage for customized playlists.
I am on the homepage, the playlist is empty -.-
Also for some weird reason the heading for that row is in German, even though the language chosen in the settings is English.
I'm a premium user and located in the right country.
Can you please fix this?
i gave up on Spotify. the playstore version works for me, but the free account sucks and I'll genuinely rather buy all the albums I wanna listen to than pay for a premium subscription. So yeah, goodbye spotify.
As of 26 February 2025, I am having the same issue as everyone else here.
I've tried:
• reinstalling the app—doesn't work as of 10 March 2025
• updating my account's country and address—doesn't work
• In-app setting > removed all downloads & cleared cache—doesn't work
• Settings > Apps > Spotify > Storage > Clear cache & clear data—doesn't work
At the time of posting this reply to this thread, I have been unable to use Spotify for a little over a week now. My playlists are empty, and if I enable the setting to "show unplayable songs", they reappear in my playlist but are all greyed out and unplayable.
It seems some of the solutions that DIDN'T work for me might have worked for others, but not for me. Taking a look at the reviews on the Play Store for Spotify paints a better picture in that the most recent update had broken the app for many users.
Some are alleging that you must pay for or renew a premium subscription for the app to work correctly again... which would be ironic. Hopefully that isn't the case, but I think I'll be looking elsewhere until Spotify can fix what they broke.

My Question or Issue:
So like some others I've noticed that apon logging onto my account about 2 weeks ago my playlist folders are showing the songs on the playlist but then when clicking onto it. It States
"Let's Add To This Playlist"
well that playlist should have 400+ songs onto it, now when I searched a band I found that when going onto they're profile it says,
"This Artists Content isn't available"
which makes no sence so I closed it and reopened and researched and the songs come up great! But when clicking on them the bar pops up with the song like it's starting to play and then proceeds to close and nothing else happens.
I've had this problem for going on a month now, the new update did nothing and I've done all the fixes for it ranging from, changing my origin country all the way up to clearing my cache and uninstalling and having 0 progress.

My Question or Issue
When I go to view my playlist, none of the songs show up. When I press the play button, I cannot view the queue either. I have already reinstalled the app, cleared the storage and the cache, checked for app updates, and restarted my device. None of these have done anything. Another thing to note is this only happens on the app. When I view the playlist on my laptop, it is fine. If any help could be provided, I would be very thankful.

Today I updated app again, to latest version 9.xxx and it seems to be working.
At least so far.
Looks like Spotify released new fixed version.

Hi! I have a individual premium account but now i can not listen to any song at all. Why?
Same issue. Playlists are empty. Opening "Liked Songs" crashes the app. Opening the page of an artist shows songs but I can't play any, nothing happens when I click.
Cleared app data, reinstalled it, restarted the phone, nothing works. There's no updates on Play Store. Already updated my payment information and checked the country, everything is correct.
By chance I had Spotify on my smartwatch with songs downloaded. Connected the phones there and it worked. It seems to be specific to the Android app.
There was an update on March 17th, but I know it was working on March 19th, so I guess it's something server side?
Hooking my phone and checking logcat, I can see the crash when opening "Liked Songs" is a SIGSEGV with "null pointer dereference" that generates a tombstone. I've dumped the tombstone.
