My Question or Issue

I logged into my account and saw that I can't play a single song and absolutely all playlists are empty. I don't know what this could be connected with. Moreover, this problem is only in the application. There is no such problem on the website. What should I do to fix my account? I have already reinstalled the app.

My Question or Issue

On my mobile spotify app no songs show up in my playlists or liked whereas on my laptop (logged into same account) shows songs in my playlists and liked. I have also tried looking for an update on the playstore but it says it is up to date.

 

I have tried uninstalling it and redownloading it but same thing still happens.

Nah, that didn't do it. I have also tried getting the absolute latest version of Spotify through an apk because the play store isn't up to date, but that didn't help either.

I'm still having this issue occur even after I clean uninstall and check my region, spotify will work on a different device on the same account or on the same device with a different account. 

I'm having this issue too. Only happen on My phone. I still can use it on my TV, Laptop and MacOs. Is very rare this.

Unfortunately this solution does nothing for me, as have the several clean reinstalls I've tried. Still no playback, songs in albums, no profile picture or name, and opening Library still crashes the app with no error message or anything.

If you still want to listen to music using Spotify on ur phone your gonna have to use the web browser version. I've been doing this for a couple of days now because the app is still broken.

So apparently it's Android related problem, the bug is mentioned by so many people around the world, I hope a solution will come soon, the clean uninstall and the location thing aren't working.

My Question or Issue

I can't see my playlists on home or any of the songs even if i search them up.

Suggesting account location is problem is ridiculous. I always had Poland as region, I never ever changed it and I still have it so this can't be it. 

Same with uninstalling app or clearing data (same thing basically) - this is first thing every normal user does. This is first  step of troubleshooting. But it never works. 

 

In play store you release 9.0.52 which no longer works. Some sketchy sites offer APK files of newer app - 9.0.54 and 9.0.56 but they do not work too. I wonder if some new update is in process of making and we just have to wait for 9.0.58 or 9.0.60 or something like this.

I live in the UK and when I look at the country/region on my account it says UK and doesn't come up with a different option. I have checked to see if it is my phone thinking it's in a different location as I do regularly use a vpn (I don't use it when I use Spotify).

 

When I try and access my account information on the app to change country/region on the app it just redirects me to the website version which seems to be fine.

All playlists appear empty, both my own, others and Spotify made playlists. If I play a playlist that still shows songs, it skips through all the songs and then updates the playlist to appear empty. Along with this, all artists are shown as not found (checked this with multiple artists and confirming they still exist on my laptop).

 

The home screen also has all personal playlists/latest listened to songs/playlists removed, and it doesn't allow me to play any songs even when searching them up, as it says no song could be found.

 

Additional info

Already tried clearing cache, updating the app to the latest version, deleting and reinstalling and have checked my languages are normal and the noted country matches my actual location. I do not use any VPN for Spotify or while using Spotify.

Oneplus 13R, OxygenOS 15.0, free Spotify plan

 

Deleted cache and data, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted mobile, checked possible location discrepancy - nothing works.

 

In browser on PC it works fine - on mobile no way...

I presume this one is marked as solved, I've tried to create a new one:

 

All Playlists Empty & Unplayable on Android – Proposed Fixes Not Working 

The problem is not only in iOS, it is also in Android

Empty playlists, artists not found, and in my case, my "Likes" section has disappeared.

I'm a little worried, I have quite a few songs added to my Likes and remembering them all would be a pain.

I forgot to mention, apparently on the website the service does work, but my Likes section are still not there.
