My Question or Issue

Myself and another artist release music using the same name (DJ GUY).

I am currently actively releasing music, and the other artist has not been active for over 10 years.

How can I make my music priotitized in the listings, to show my music first and not his, OR,  is it possible to split both our accounts? e.g. DJ GUY (1)  and DJ GUY (2).

My Discogs page showing all my releases is here:

https://www.discogs.com/artist/3493710-DJ-Guy-4

and the other artist with same name is here:

https://www.discogs.com/artist/901283-DJ-Guy-2

There MUST be some way you can resolve this?

Once again perhaps you can create one page as DJ Guy (1)

and another page called DJ Guy (2)

Any help would be very much appreciated. I feel I might be losing listeners due to my music being mixed up with the other artists tracks. Thank you!

Hey @Guyle

I suggest contacting Spotify For Artists support here.

In the dropdown select "there's music on the wrong artist profile".

Have a nice day 🙂

Thanks, yes I think it will be fixed in 48 hours!

I had to give Spotify my URI code for my album and they are going to create a new artist profile page for me.

Happy to have finally gotten this resolved!
