Another person controls my Spotify

Hi all,

Since today I'm not able to listen my spotify playlists on my iPhone because it keeps switching to other music on another (for me unknown) device PS4-524. When I pause the song, someone seems to unpause it. When I switch to another song, it's switching back almost immediately. After I have changed my password and logged out of all devices (via the Spotify website) the unknow device is there again when staring the Spotify app.

Any help would be much appreciated:).

We'd recommend resetting your password here: https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/. You can also sign out from everywhere: https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/.

Thx for you reply! Already tried this and that. Nothing seemed to help even changing my password and singning out from all devices didn't stop "the other person" from using my account. I sincerely suspect that this is due to an error with Spotify.

What did work was to create a new Spotify account with an alternative e-mailaddress. Yippee😊

I have the same problem. When going to my profile on web i see that my e-mail address is different from the one used to signup/login (I use Facebook login). When trying to change it to my e-mail it says "This email is already in use". Creating alternative profile is not an option for me since I'm premium. I'm sure no other Spotify capable devices were around when it happend the last time since I was in the countryside. Some Moto-x deivce seems to switch and controlls my Spotify. Please take this seriously!
