Applied for student discount - not getting the 30 days free

Hey there, I just clicked on the "another 30 days premium" thingy and went for the student discount way and somehow I didn't get the 30 days premium on top. Is that normal or a bug?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to subscribe to the 30-day trial offer using Student Discount. However, you could subscribe with regular Premium, if you are eligible, and subsequently switch to Student Discount.

If you have further questions on this, you can reach one of the Spotify staff members by dropping them a line on social media (Twitter or Facebook) or by using the contact form. Make sure, if you use the latter, to reply to the automated email you'll receive directing you back to the help pages, even if it's from a no-reply!

Support usually gets back within a day or two.
