Hi everyone, first let me apologize for posting this here but there seem to be no "bug" or "error report" section on this forum (might be a good idea btw).
On the page of the french band "Luke" (all the titles and music are right) you have the picture and the biography of an American? hip-hop singer. Migth want to correct that.
Spotify link: Luke
Have a good one!
EDIT: he're's the wiki link to the guy you actually want to put on that page :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_(French_band)

There can be quite a difficult situation that happens sometimes when some artists share the same name. There are number of ways to report this, however.
We are trying to collect a selection of artists who have are listed under the incorrect artist name, and you can submit your findings here.

Hi, I'm Devin Taylor. My artist page still uses the image of my older album. I wish it to show "D Tech 3" album cover instead. Also, I have a Bio on last.fm and I wanted to add it to my page as well.
How do I go about doing this?
Thank you very much,
- Devin Taylor
I had a quick chat with someone over there - Not entirely sure if the technical details are ironed out quite yet, but images and biographies are generally pulled from AllMusic.com - I had a quick search for you, but couldn't find you on there. It seems you need to submit some material to them, and the bio may appear "within 2-4 weeks", but I imagine that might get quite busy. However, this link appears to explain everything you need.
Nice little 8-Bit work there, by the way. Checked out the VVVVVV Soundtrack at all?
Hey!
The poetic singer John Cooper-Clarke is from the City of Salford (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Cooper_Clarke )
but you have him being from Manchester, which is an entirely different city (albeit, Salford is in Gt. Manchester, but it's still not correct having him from Manchester) John Cooper Clarke
kyleleonard - As above, John Cooper-Clarke's bio is being pulled from AllMusic.com. They have a "Submit correction" section on the left hand side to request changes.
What about artist witht the same name? For Troublemakers the bio is pulled from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troublemakers_%28French_band%29 but judging from the available albums it should instead be from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troublemakers_%28Swedish_band%29
Hi, I detected a mistake in the Vladimir Spivakov biography. Instead of that one, it appears the Arvo Pärt bio.
Thanks.

Hey, I've just noticed that the Against Me! bio hasn't been updated to fit Laura (previously Tom) Gabel's name and pronouns.
Should be corrected as...
"...solo project spearheaded by [Laura] Gabel, who began playing shows as a 17-year-old in Gainesville, Florida. Starting in 1997, Gabel performed as a solo act wherever anyone would have [her], drawing much influence from early acoustic protest music. By 2001, [she]'d beefed up [her] sound with the help of a full band..."
aaaand that's it for the major corrections, but also towards the end of the second paragraph ("Though... Americans Abroad!!!") the subject "the guys" should be replaced with either "they" or another gender-neutral term.
Thanks a bunch, and let me know if there's a more convenient place to put these corrections, because I get the feeling that this thread is kind of floating out in the middle of nowhere at the moment.
I noticed a misspelled name in an ad that came up and didn't know where else to point it out. Here is a snapshot of it.
The ad itself and the woman speaking said "Wolanin", but the text in the grey space says "Wolain"
I was just reading over Artist: Chris Webby's Biography and there is conflicting information with the year of his debut EP. In bold it says 2001 but if you continue reading it says 2011 and under the overview tab and albums it shows 2011 as well. Just and FYI.
I'm going to lock this topic since the community is not the ideal place to report this type of content issue.
You can report any content errors/issues such as these directly to the Spotify content team using the instructions outlined in this topic. Once you have submitted a query, the content team will investigate and then pass any needed details over to the record label to request a correction/change if needed (so it can take some time unfortunately!).
Thanks! 🙂
