I just noticed that after March of this year, I was charged $9.99/month rather than the $4.99 student rate. When I go to re-join the student program, it says that my account is not eligible. What should I do?

Hi, beetnick55! The Student discount expires after a year, and has to be renweed every year, up to four years, so this is the most likely reason as to why you were dropped. As to why you are unable to rejoin, make sure you are trying to re-join the student program from the prmotional page for your country (USUK, and Germany). If that still fails, please double check that you are still eligible. I'm not aware as to wether any terms have changed, but you never know. The US FAQ is here, and it contains information that may be useful in resolving your issue.

 

If that too, fails, I would recommend getting in touch with support. Note that if you receive an automated email directing you to the community and/or help boards, make sure you reply directly to that email (even if it is from a no reply address) and support will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

Please make sure to try all of the troubleshooting steps first, as you'll get a result from those quicker than waiting for support to get back to you (24-48 hours). If there's anything else, please don't hesitate to ask! Best of luck!
