Auto signup?

Hi! I wanted to create a new account, since I don't want to use my old account anymore. But as I was signing up, it didn't load and said 'error'. So I clicked the exit button then tried again. But, as I input my email, it says that the email I have inputted is already taken. So I went to check my email, there's an email from Spotify that says confirm account. So I checked it and then I saw that yeah there is already an account with the username: p92st2y2yyb1bq4o003wb1rlc 

(this is crazy!) without me even entering my username and password on my own. Please delete the account on the two emails I have tried to create a new account with. 😞

Hey @rynn8, welcome to the community!

Right now, Spotify will generate a random username when you sign up for a new account.

Don't worry, you can follow these steps to close the account. You'll then be able to create a new one with the same email address.
