Automatically removing songs available for offline play

Automatically removing songs available for offline play

My playlists change a lot on a daily basis. For example, I have a "Current Songs" playlist to which I add songs frequently, and when I've heard the song enough times, I delete the song from the playlist.

Can I get Spotify to automatically delete songs when I remove them from my playlist? If not, is there at least a workaround? I simply don't want songs that I've removed from my "Current Songs" list to continue to hog extra space, so that in the future I won't find myself suddenly exceeding my 3333 offline song limit when I try to add new tracks. I know that clearing the cache at that point is an option, but this would also delete the ~3000 songs that I want to be saved, and I'd have to re-download those again. That doesn't seem optimal. So is there any way to "un-save" individual/selected list of tracks?

Hi @nipunajay3!

Right now, is not possible to delete the data of individual songs from your offline playlists.

You can suggest your idea in our Community at https://community.spotify.com/t5/Idea-Submissions/idb-p/ideas_submissions and get support from other users.

Any other questions, just give us a shout 🙂

Mine removes the downloaded song automatically so i need to download it again and again! What can i do to prevent this? Its really frustrating since im listening to it offline and wont be available.

Have it in another playlist?
