Brand new pin doesn't works?!!

I just purchased a gift card and when I tried to use the brand new code that wasn't scratched yet At the back of the card it said that it was already used!!! Really???? Funny cause it was a brand new card! I tried to contact agents from Spotify and they just sent me a lame email asking me to come here to ask for help. Seriously what a disappointment this turn out to be
