Bug: current playlist altered when switching devices

I have had this problem for a year and half. It ALWAYS occurs. I have a playlist with over 500 songs, and when switching devices it changes it to a seemingly random playlist of around 40-80 songs from artists in the original playlist. This doesn't alter the saved playlist, just the current playlist being played. It is not device specific as I've gone from Android to iPhone. It happens ANY time I switch devices. I switch from desktop to phone, and phone to Bluetooth car stereo. Normally you can't tell because the app doesn't show you that it's not using the full playlist, but my stereo shows a playlist count. Also, you can keep skipping through songs and you'll notice it no longer plays many of the songs from the playlist.

When you change devices, are both devices connected to the same Internet connection? 

 

Also, would it be possible for you to try to access with a different account, and replicate this with the same playlist, or a similar one with more than 200 songs at least?
