Buy 1 month get 2 free payment problems

Hi

 

I am trying to upgrade to premium using the Buy 1 month get 2 free promotion. When I try to pay it keeps giving me a 'whoops there is a problem - try again' 

 

My details are correct. Can anyone offer help?

If you paid before for a premium subscription, you're no elegible for the promotion.

First of all, you can only get this deal if you mever had premium before.

 

Have you tried with another browser?

Hi, thank you - I was doing it through Google so I tried Internet explorer - still no joy 😞

I have the same problem, I select my bank, then nothing happens. When I click on "Start Premium", it says whoops, something went wrong, please try again..

same story here. the error appears when/after tring to process the credit card information. wont work. please help

Hello, 

 

i also tried this promotion, and under "Payments" it says that my Paypall account is being used. Under "Subscription" it says: Your Spotify Premium subscription will be automatically renewed on 2015-01-09 and charged € 9,99, unless you cancel your subscription before that time." 

 

This does not sound like the promotion? How do I know if this promotion is active?

Thank you for your reply, I didn't pay before. About a week ago I got a mail from paypal with this promo, I set up an account and selected paypal as payment method and that's it. A couple of hours ago I got a mail from paypal with the notification that a payment was sent to Spotify. So today was the first payment I ever made. 

Ah no, I get it, I got a month for free apparently. This is kind of a sham, because it did not let me know I didn't got the promo. I assumed it would just change to the correct status when the promotion period began, and not just charge me anway. I will "enjoy" the month for wich I paid, and then you can count me out. Even though it's my fault for not reading the fine print, I feel duped. 

 

Thanks for the effort though.
