CANT LOG IN, account keeps saying offline with full internet connection

i have been trying to log back into my account for the past hour, having logged out because app kept saying "offline" when there was no problem with my internet connection. i also restarted the computer thinking that may help but no. and now that im trying to log back in with facebook, it wont even open the window for me to do so. getting pretty sick of paying ten quid a month for this rubbish service. can somebody please get back to me and sort this problem out? what is the story with your automated response fb messenger? you have the option for people to send a message yet they cant type what they want to ask?? you make it very difficult for people to get help.
