CANT LOGIN? USERNAME AND PASS CORRECT | ANDROID

I am running on Android Oreo and using a Samsung S7 phone. I am running on the devices original firmware. I had a replacement S7 sent out to me and recently I downloaded Spotify from the playstore and cannot login!? The password and username is correct since I can login onto spotify through google chrome browser

I have tried every trick to fix this changed my password everything but whatever I do the app logins me in for a nano second then logs out. I hope someone in the spotify staff can fix this as this is verrrryy frustrating I have hundreds of songs liked and saved on my spotify.
