Can I get a student discount in Australia?

I don't want to pay $12 a month, but $5 for me is doable. I'm a student, and i've seen people talking about a student discount in the UK and US

If it's not available in Australia, why not?

At the moment, High School students are not eligable for Spotify Premium for Students. You need to be a current student at a University or College in one of the supported markets. 

You can upvote (give kudos) to the idea of expanding Spotify Premium for Students to High School here.
