Can I link 2 phones to 1 account?

can each users have there own user name and own play lists on our own devices

user 1 iphone

Hey Pete (great name!)! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Unfortunately, each premium subscription can only have one username tied to it, and therefore 1 set of playlists. 

The reason for this, is Spotify is only licensed for personal usage of tracks from the record labels, meaning each person is meant to have their own account and subscription plan. This is also the reason the Spotify system will only allow you to ever stream on one device at any given time.
