Can I pay for Spotify using iTunes gift card?

Sorry, but you cannot.  If the Spotify app wasn't free, you could use the gift card to purchase the app, but fortunately it is a free app.  You can, however, purchase, use, or gift Spotify gift cards to use for a Premium subscription!! hope that helps answer your question.

Sorry for the confusion.

Just like Netflix, Spotify also offers in-app purchase subscriptions so that you can buy premium with your iTunes account.

Just a word of caution, the premium subscription is about $3 more than if you were to get it on the spotify.com website because Apple charges a fee.

So if you have a gift card on your iTunes account, I'm pretty sure you can use that balance towards the in-app purchase for the subscription. I don't have any experience with that, but I think it should work.
