Can I still do the trial?

Hi, I recently bought the Spotify membership for $13 a month or howver much it is. Though through research after I found that there are student dicounts for $1 for 3 months and plenty of other trials. Since I was quick to activating my Spotify membership, am I unable to receive any of these deals now?

Also, I read that if you link your PSN account with your Spotify you're supposed to get 2 months free? I linked them, however I don't think I received my free 2 months.
