Can I use Apple Pay for my spotify account when I move to Spain (from US)?

I am in the US and have an Apple credit card that supports international transactions. Can I set this up as my payment method now and have it still work once I move to Spain? (the support article about moving to a new country says I need to change to a payment method from the new country and I don't know if this card qualifies)

While the card must support international transactions, it also matters where the card has been issued. As far as I know, the Apple Card is only available in the US, which means that it's likely been issued in the US.

As long as you set it up while you're still in the US, and the card remains working, you should have no issues continuing using it for Spotify payments. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to change your account's country setting to Spain.

If you'd like to change it to Spain, you'll need a payment method that's been issued there.
