Can i join my non-student account, with a student email for the discount?

Can i join my non-student account, with a student email for the discount?

I currently have a spotify account linked with my facebook account. My three months of $0,99 premium has run up. I would like to use my student email to get the student discount now instead of paying the full $10. Is that possible?
