Can no longer log in to Spotify on Onkyo TX-NR709

I try to run official Spotify App on the Onkyo TX-NR709 receiver, enter the user/pass and get an error.  This used to work...

How can I play Spotify songs on my receiver without physically connecting my phone through a cable?

Spotify is no longer supported on a few speakers, this is why it isn't working as it used to. You can find all the info about this here.
