Can only login using credentials with web app

Hello,

I initially set myself up as a free user and I decided to become a premium user using the free 30 day promo. I can login with my credentials successfully via webui using Chrome.  I have installed the Spotify app via Google Play on my Android phone, however it will not take my creds.  The app tells me "Unable to login. Either the username or password is incorrect".  Ok, maybe I forgot which password so I use the forgot password link.  Change my password and successfully login via webui to validate, and it works.  Back to Android app and again the same scenario.  I go as far as downloadingyour fat client for PC and I get the same issue with a incorrect username or password.

I have done nothing as far as linking my FB account to this account and prefer to keep FB out of it.

So please advise on next steps and hopefully we can turn this user experience around.
