Can't Login to Windows 7 App with Web App Password

I logged into the web app at spotify.com and downloaded the app for my desktop computer. When I tried to login there, it said error code 3. (password or username incorrect. Do I need to sign up for two different accounts? I also had trouble posting this message. I got a message: There was an error while attempting to post your message. Try again in a few minutes. This really isn't convincing me to keep premium past the discounted period...
