Can't change countries in account settings

For some odd reason, i can not change my country in my account settings. I am currently living in Canada but it won't allow me to change from the US to canada. May i get some help?

In the FAQ (https://support.spotify.com/ca-en/) one of the questions is "Want to switch an existing account to Canada?" which has a link to the following page:

 

https://support.spotify.com/ca-en/country-move/

 

Providing you have an invite code, that page should allow you to move your existing account to Canada.

I was going to report the same issue. 

 

I moved from the UK to Canada and went to my profile page on the web to change countries but the pulldown menu won't pull down - it just displays the United Kingdom greyed out, so I can't use Spotify any more! I tried using Chrome and Firefox. Help!

I don't think Spotify is avaialbe in Canada.

 

Anyway, I'm having the same problem.

I moved from UK to USA and I can't log in.

 

Like you the country in my profile is greyed out, however, mine says 'USA' and I still can't log in!!

I am a new user and setup my account from outside the US. I was never given the option to set my country, it just defaulted to the USA. Now that I have exceeded the allowed 14-day travel period, I am running into the exact same problem that other users have described where the country in my profile is greyed out and not able to be modified. This is the process outlined in the FAQ section with no alternate instructions if this does not work. I even tried setting up new accounts with different email addresses and it never allowed me to set my country. Each one defaulted to USA. Any suggestions? Does Spotify allow users to communicate with their tech support? I can't even find that option. I guess I will be uninstalling and going back to Pandora if not resolved soon.

I am in Canada. I did not know that Canada's Spotify was invite only - I just remember reading about a launch. How could I get an invite code? I just realised I might have been inadvertently trapped as a response to this: http://lifehacker.com/5821234/how-to-get-spotify-free-without-an-invite

I live in Canada, have an invite code to Spotify Canada, and cannot change my country from US to Canada. It's frustrating because I'm unable to link my Facebook account to my Spotify account, it gives me an error that my country on Facebook doesn't match my country on Spotify. 

@thevinylversion - Unfortunate it is mentioned in the Canada help pages you can't currently register using Facebook. (https://support.spotify.com/ca-en/)

You need to register an account using your email address (which has to be different to your Facebook email address) to use the beta invite.

I did get an invite for spotify for the canada version but for some reason the settings leaves it in the states and wont allow me to change it

Hello!

I live in Italy and I sometimes use Spotify from Slovenia. Today I had problems conecting from abroad, and I made the mistake to change my country settings from Italy to UK.

Now I'm back in Italy and I don't manage to connect to Spotify because of my country settings, but I cannot change them anymore! Please help me!!

I'm form Portugal and I've been using Spotify there but now I moved to France and I can't use Spotify. I've tried to change the country but  the country in my profile is greyed out and not able to be modified.

Hi! I've moved from Finland to Martinique (France) and I can't change country in my profile and therefore can't use Spotify. 

is there an update to this link? I'm experiencing the same thing. I moved from us to canada, and I cant change countries.

This link no longer works - I am in the same problem - I am Canadian staying in Mexico - I paid for the premium with my canadian credit card and now it won't let me log in an it won't let me change the country in account settings please help

I have tried accessing these links but it says that these links do not exist. Somehow my account has been changed to be set in the US but I have been in Canada since birth. I want to use my Spotify gift card but since the Account settings give me no other option but US, my postal code does not work and I cannot change anything.
