Can't change email address

I have a Premium subscription and I think I originally created my Spotify account with my Facebook account, which I permanently deleted and don't have access to it anymore.

Is there anyway to change my email address?

Hi @corjorge1, I think I worded my support request badly.

My Spotify account was created with my Facebook account. I permanently deleted my Facebook account but retained my Spotify account. I need to change the email address related to my Spotify account, but after some search it looks like I need to cancel my Premium subscription and create a new Spotify account with my new email.

Sorry for the confusion!

No worries, in this case we'd recommend reaching out to Support, so that they can help out backstage.
You can do this one of the below ways:

Email: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

Twitter: https://twitter.com/SpotifyCares

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SpotifyCares

They'll be able to check that old account for you, and make sure any possible subscriptions are cancelled etc, before you open your new account 🙂

I have an account linked through Facebook. I have a new email address and updated it in Facebook, but the changes are not reflected in my Spotify account. I cannot update the email address directly in Spotify because my account is linked to Facebook. Is there a workaround for this issue?
