Can't change email

Can't change email

I am connected to facebook with Spotify, yet it only sends emails to my original email I signed up with. Upon trying to change the email to my current one, the one connected to my facebook, it says the email is in use. But it isn't, as when I insert that newer email into forgot my username, it just says its connected to a facebook account. Meaning my facebook account, connected to the same account that I'm trying to change to that email in the first place.

 

Any suggestions?.

This is kinda strange. In this case, we'd suggest getting in touch with our Accounts team. They'll be able to take a closer look into your account and the email address your trying to use. 

 

You can get in touch with them from any of our social media help sites: @SpotifyCares on Twitter and Spotify Cares on Facebook. Just send them a private message with your account's email address and username.
