Can't change payment method

Hi,

 

I recently had to change my payment method after having my credit card stolen.  Even though I've used this card already for other purchases, I keep getting declined whenever I try to change it from Spotify.  Is there anything else I can do?

 

I'm using a native Spotify login (not the FB login), and tried in Chrome & Firefox.

Hi ascagnel - The first thing I recommend is making sure your new card meets all of the requirements below:

 

1. The country set in your Spotify account profile must match the country where your card is registered. 

2. Your card should be enabled for e-commerce transactions (Verified by Visa/Mastercard securecard card).

3. Your card must be open to be used for foreign purchases.

4. There are some banks that require other security authentifications, the most common one being 3DSecure.

 

Once you have checked all of the above, please give that another try from your subscription page
